It was around 1960 when Robert (Bob) and Grace Kohler began to have burden to reach more young people through a regular camping ministry. Camps were held in various places until God provided for the development of a beautiful beach property. Since then, God worked in mighty ways in answer to prayer and hard work. He is our faithful God.
What we do in ministry flows from one place: God’s Word. It’s in the Scriptures that we take our philosophy for life and ministry. It’s these beliefs that lead to our core principles the bedrock of what Word of Life truly is
